| Alexandre was born on 01.09.1967 in Crisciúma, Brazil. He received the
B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1989 and the M.Sc. degree in
Electrical Engineering in 1994 from the Federal University of Minas
Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil. From 1993 to 2000, he was Electrical
Engineer of Heartware Informática Ltda, Belo Horizonte, Brazil. From 1999
to 2005, he was Professor of School of Computer Science of the Faculdades
Integradas de Caratinga, Caratinga, Brazil. Since 2005 he is Ph.D. student
at the Post-Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering of the Federal
University of Espírito Santo, Vitória, Brazil. Since Dezember of 2007, he
is doing sandwich doctorate at Robotics Research Laboratory. His research
is focused on color constancy techniques for outdoor robot navigation.
