Vita

Tobias Föhst was born 1981 in Idar-Oberstein. He studied computer-science at the university of Kaiserslautern from late 2001 until 2008. The title of his diploma thesis is "Positionskorrektur durch Relokaliserung an Knoten einer topologischen Karte" (Positioning via relocalization at distinct locations within a topological map). He has been a member of the PhD-program at the university of Kaiserslautern since early 2008. The field of interest lies within autonomic mobile robotics with respect to pattern-recognition, mapping and navigation.
