Vita

Sebastian Blank wurde 1981 in Hachenburg (Westerwald) geboren. Er studierte von 2002 bis 2009 Technoinformatik an der TU Kaiserslautern. 2006 absolvierte er am "Robotics and Automation Laboratory" (Michigan State University, USA) ein Auslandssemester. Dort arbeite er an einem Projekt zur hochgenauen Kalibrierung von Industrierobotern. Seine Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der biologisch motivierten, nachgiebigen und verteilten Steuerung und Regelung eines Einzelbeins für hochdynamische Anwendungen. Seit Frühjahr 2009 ist er Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Doktorand am Fachbereich Informatik an der TU Kaiserslautern. Zustandserfassung von komplexen eingebetteten Systemen und Datenfusion bilden seinen Forschungsschwerpunkt.
