Vita

Zuhair Zafar kommt aus Pakistan und arbeitet seit August 2014 als Doktorand im Fachbereich Informatik. Sein Forschungsgebiet umfasst die Analyse menschlicher Emotionen und Verhaltensweisen im Kontext der Mensch-Roboter-Interaktion. Während seiner Zeit in der Gruppe hat er ein robustes und zuverlässiges Wahrnehmungssystem des humanoiden Roboters ROBIN entwickelt.

Zuvor hat er 2011 seinen Bachelorabschluss in Elektrotechnik an der Government College University, Lahore, gemacht. Sein Projekt im letzten Jahr war "Vision-based Crowd Attendance system". Seinen Masterabschluss in Computertechnik an der Universität "Lahore University of Management Sciences" machte er 2013. Das Thema seiner Masterarbeit lautete "Facial Expressions and Behavior Recognition for Assistive Robots".
