Vita

Jan Koch has studied technical computer science at the University of Kaiserslautern in the years from 1999 to 2004. Major fields of study have been embedded systems, system software, automation engineering and computer graphics. The development of an inertial sensor system for navigation assistance of autonomous mobile robots was a substantiel part of the diploma thesis. Since march 2005 he is employed as scientific assistant and PhD student at AG Robotersysteme. Present fields of interest are close to hardeware programming, intelligent robots and ambient systems.
